Artist Statement
Each image serves as a memory of a person, place or moment. By connecting the intimate landscape to personal observations, I explore themes of endearment, wanderlust and transition. Often, I draw inspiration from my immediate environment and seek to understand the connection between these exchanges. The memento becomes more than an image, it becomes an object. An object to be held, preserved and reflected upon. This collection intends to be a continuous narrative tracing small and monumental exchanges between artist, the land, subject and viewer.
